She’s Such a Geek
I haven’t had a chance to read the transcript yet, but R U Sirius has an interview with the editors and one of the contributors of She’s Such a Geek, a collection of essays by women about geek women.
I picked the book up a little while ago, and while I haven’t had a chance to read it yet, I did flip through it and it looks pretty fun. Definitely pick it up if you get a chance.
BTW, if you’re unfamiliar with R U Sirius then you definitely need to do a better job of learning your history. A former Yippie, Sirius is probably best known as the former editor-in-chief of Mondo 2000. Mondo was a pioneering magazine that helped to develop the cyberpunk culture of the late 80s/early 90s. Basically, Mondo was the magazine that Wired desperately wanted to be when they started out, but never even came close to.
Things to check out from Sirius include,

- The MondoGlobo Network – A collection of websites and podcasts that Sirius and his friends are doing
